Sell your products by managing online auctions – the business model which users can’t resist.

Do you know what an online auction is? I assume you do, and perhaps you’ve already thought of selling products through online auctions. People interested in auctions like the chance to get items at low prices and are encouraged to place a bid which usually results in an immediate price rise as soon as they are outbid. Auctions are actually very simple. Anyone can place a bid for a certain product and if no one outbids the previous one, then they win. It’s a win-win situation. Buyers can get products at the best price and sellers gain profit – sometimes more than expected.

Set a starting price, a reservice price and a “buy now” price

In every auction, you can specify a start price, a reserve price (minimum price you are willing to accept for the item), and the selling price to allow users to buy the item immediately, without joining the auction.

Choose to set the auction with manual or automatic bids.

You can decide if users have to place their bids manually… Or if they can enter the maximum price, they’re willing to pay in order to let the system raise bids automatically until reaching the specified limit.

Make a standard auction or a reverse auction where the winner is the user who made the lowest bid

In a standard auction, the one with the highest bid wins, whereas, in the reverse auction, the lowest one wins.

Set secret auctions to hide bids

You can set an auction as “secret” to hide the bids made by other users.

Specify a “fee” to sign-up and take part in the auction

You can set a fee that users need to pay before placing their bid. For payments, they will be redirected to the checkout.

Select from four different countdown layouts (or show the auction duration only)

We offer 4 modern and attractive countdown designs to show users when the auction ends. You can select the style that matches your theme, customize colors, or even disable the counter to show only the auction’s end date.

Determine whether to enable the “Watchlist” to allow users to keep track of the auction they are interested in or not

Allow your users choose from signing-up to the auction and receive email notifications, or adding the auction to a “watchlist” which they can monitor through the related widget or on their account.

Choose how to manage auctions not paid for or those that haven’t reached the reserve price

If the auction winner doesn’t pay the item, choose whether to send the notification to the second-highest bidder or reschedule the auction and publish it again automatically.

Ask users to register or log in and specify a valid credit card to be able to bid

Improve your auction site safety by asking users to insert a valid credit card in order to make a bid.

Request confirmation from users before publishing their bid

Prevent having unwanted bids – those made only out of curiosity or without real interest. Do this by asking a confirmation from users before publishing their bids and informing them of their responsibilities if they win.

Update your users with a variety of notifications

You can send notification emails to users who keep track of the auction and to all bidders when there is a new bid, when the auction is about to end, when someone outbids them (encouraging them to place another bid) and when the auction has ended.
